Where the river Semois can flow wildly in the Ardennes, it flows much calmer here. The climate is also milder, which is typical of the Gaume,  making the region ideal for growing vineyards. 

Stop in small villages like  Gérouville, Chantemelle or Chassepierre and you will quickly understand the appeal of these charming and enchanting places. 

The Gaume museum in  Virton preserves the true history of the region. Folklore, folk beliefs and traditions, archeology and fine arts, this place is a real gem.
